How to make apple tart at home
Cut the apples and mix them with lemon juice.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Add the melted butter and stir until it forms a dough.
Press the mixture into a 10” or 11” tart pan with a removable bottom.
Spread the layer of apricot preserve over the crust, arrange apples, sprinkle it with granulated sugar, cinnamon and top it with butter.
Preheat the oven to 350° and bake it for an hour until the crust is golden in color and the apples are tender.
Brush it with melted butter & garnish as you fancy and allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
