Ingredients required
Shallots - 10
Red dried chilli - 4
Tamarind - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Coconut oil - 2 tsp
How to make onion chutney
1. Roast the dry red chilli until crisp.
2. In a grinding jar or mortar pestle add shallots, red chilli, tamarind, and salt.
3. Grind to form a nice smooth paste consistency.
4. Add coconut oil and give it a good mix.
5. Remove it to a plate and serve with idli or dosa.
